Harley-Davidson’s presence in the Adventure Touring segment takes another leap forward with the opening of the new H-D® Adventure Centre in Wales, England. A first for the business, Harley-Davidson® UK & Ireland has teamed up with Dakar legend Mick Extance to launch the centre. Its where adventurous riders can learn how to put the Pan America™1250 Special through its paces in the stunning terrain of Llangynog, mid-Wales.
As part of the adventure, riders experience a full day learning how to master the Adventure Touring machine off road, opening the full potential of the superb bike in 1,500 acres of stunning forest.
In addition to building confidence in their own capabilities, the H-D® Adventure Centre highlights just what is possible on the Pan America and inspires riders to continue their learning journey. From novice off-roader to international traveler, this training helps improve a rider whatever their experience level.
With seven Dakar rallies to his name and years of riding experience in the toughest conditions, Mick Extance is Britain’s finest off-road expert. He says, “I’m delighted to be working so closely with Harley-Davidson® and can’t wait to help more riders get to grips with the superb Pan America 1250 Special. The H-D® Adventure Centre is the perfect location to experience what this bike can do and set up Harley owners for a lifetime of on and off-road adventures with their Pan America motorcycles.”
UK & Ireland dealers were given pre-launch booking access to host a dealer dedicated day at the centre with their VIP customers. Dealers outside the UK & Ireland are encouraged to promote the H-D Adventure Centre with any customer who may be travelling to the UK.
