We just want a few handover snaps, that we can share on social media using the competition hashtag of #ThisHarleyIsMine and tagging the official Harley-Davidson® UK channel (https://www.facebook.com/HarleyDavidsonUK ). and this is all it will take to enter you into the competition.
Campaign end date – 31 December. Only published handover pictures on or before the 31/12/2021 will count as an entry.
Terms & Conditions for the Harley-Davidson UK & Ireland Handover Promotion (the “Prize Draw”) 1. Introduction a) The Prize Draw is organised and run by Harley-Davidson Europe Ltd (“H-D”), who can be contacted at Oxford Business Park, 6000 Garsington Road, Oxford, OX4 2DQ, United Kingdom. b) By entering this Prize Draw, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by H-D, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Prize Draw. c) The Prize Draw starts at 06:00 (GMT) on 1 November 2021 and ends at 21:00 (GMT) on 31 December 2021 (the “Prize Draw Period”). 2. Who can enter this Prize Draw? a) Participants must: i. be residents of, and have a postal address in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) or the Republic of Ireland; ii. have a valid Facebook account; and iii. be aged 18 or over. b) The Prize Draw is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of H-D, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by H-D, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Prize Draw, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. c) By entering the Prize Draw, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. H-D reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify a participant for submitting false information. 3. How does the Prize Draw work? a) The purchase of a new or used Harley-Davidson motorcycle from an authorised and recognised HarleyDavidson dealership in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) or the Republic of Ireland is necessary to enter the Prize Draw, however entry into the Prize Draw itself is free. An authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealership is one that is listed on the Harley-Davidson website’s ‘Find a Dealer’ page, which can be accessed here: https://www.harley-davidson.com/gb/en/tools/find-adealer.html. b) To enter the Prize Draw, participants must have an image of the sales-handover of their purchased Harley-Davidson motorcycle, posted by and onto the Facebook page of the authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealership that sold them their motorcycle during the Prize Draw Period (an “Entry”, or “Entries” in the plural). The sales-handover must have taken place during the Prize Draw Period. c) An Entry must: i. be posted from the official Facebook page of the authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealership that sold the participant their Harley-Davidson motorcycle; ii. include the hashtag #ThisHarleyIsMine and the name of the participant within the text copy of the post (the hashtag is not case sensitive); iii. contain an image of the participant, the sales-handover and their purchased Harley-Davidson motorcycle (images, videos and 360-degree images are accepted); and iv. tag the official Harley-Davidson UK Facebook account. d) Each participant can only enter the Prize Draw once for every individual Harley-Davidson motorcycle purchased. Only the first Entry for each motorcycle purchased by each participant will be accepted and constitute a valid Entry. For the avoidance of doubt, if a participant has entered more than once using the same motorcycle, only their first Entry will be entered into the Prize Draw. If a submission fails to satisfy any or all requirements of an Entry, it will not be counted as a valid Entry and will be void. e) All Entries must be received by H-D during the Prize Draw Period or they will be void. H-D will not accept responsibility for: i. Prize Draw Entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or ii. any change in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent a winner from accepting, taking or using a Prize (defined below). f) On 3 January 2022, one (1) winner and their corresponding dealership will be selected at random, using a random computer-generated process, from all valid Entries received. g) The winner and their corresponding dealership will be notified on 3 January 2022 via email to the dealership and a comment on the winning Entry post (“Notification”). h) The Prize must be claimed in accordance with the instructions in the Notification message within seven (7) days of the Notification (the “Claim Period”) by replying to the Notification message. In order to receive their Prize, the winner and their corresponding dealership will need to provide H-D with any further information (e.g. postal address for the delivery of the Prize) requested by H-D in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification message within the Claim Period. Failure to claim the Prize in accordance with the instructions in the Notification within the Claim Period will result in the forfeit of the Prize and an alternative winner will be chosen. i) The winner and their corresponding dealership will receive the relevant Prize within one (1) month of the date on which they provide H-D with the information requested in the Notification message (as set out in clause 3(h)). j) The winners may be required to provide H-D with proof of identification in order to verify compliance with the eligibility requirements for the Prize Draw. k) If a winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with the Terms, then the winner may, in H-D’s sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. 4. What is the Prize? a) There will be two (2) winners: one (1) will be the participant who purchased the Harley-Davidson motorcycle (the “Winning Participant”); and the other will be the authorised and recognised HarleyDavidson dealership who sold the Harley-Davidson motorcycle to the Winning Participant (the “Winning Dealership”). b) The Winning Participant will receive a Harley-Davidson Insurance voucher of the value £249.00/€[299] (as applicable). The voucher can only be redeemed against an insurance policy arranged and administered by Harley-Davidson Insurance Services (https://www.harleydavidson.com/gb/en/tools/insurance-services.html), and will entitle the Winning Participant to a reduction from the premium of their next insurance policy. c) The Winning Dealership will receive a one-day photoshoot, content creation session and one-to-one social media workshop at the site location of the Winning Dealership. These sessions have an approximate value of £1,000 and will be arranged and administered by RBP Agency. The sessions can only be redeemed within three (3) months of the Prize Draw Period. d) Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have a cash value of zero. Prizes are for personal use only and are not for resale. Prizes may be forfeited in the event that H-D determines that the Prize is being misused. H-D reserves the right to substitute a prize of an equal or greater value in its absolute discretion. 5. General a) H-D reserves the right to amend the rules of the Prize Draw, to withdraw the Prize Draw at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable, or to cancel the Prize in the event of noncompliance with these Terms. b) H-D will use your personal details to contact you for administrative purposes relating to this Prize Draw. c) If you have elected to be added to H-D’s email database, you will also receive promotional emails with offers, news, products and information. You can unsubscribe at any time. d) H-D will keep your personal information safe and will use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy available on its website (https://www.harleydavidson.com/gb/en/footer/utility/privacy-policy.html). e) The winner’s surname and county will be made available. The winner will have the right to object to this information being published or to request a reduction in the amount of information being published. HD may be required to provide this information to the relevant regulatory authorities. f) The decision of H-D regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. g) Any cancellation or changes will be posted on the main Harley-Davidson Facebook page, and communicated through authorised and recognised Harley-Davidson dealerships. h) With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, H-D is not liable for, and you release HD from, liabilities relating to any direct or indirect loss or damage which is suffered, as a result of entering the Prize Draw, failing to win, winning, accepting or using a Prize. i) This Prize Draw is run by H-D, it has no affiliation with Facebook, and they have no liability whatsoever for the running of this Prize Draw. Any complaint about the Prize Draw should be directed to H-D and not Facebook.
